Modern Fertility Awareness Methods:
Billings Ovulation Method
Billings teaches you to recognize your body's natural signal of fertility - cervical mucus.
The Billings Ovulation Method is based on the primary observation of sensation as well as observed cervical fluid. This method has four simple rules that are applied within the woman’s cycle (the first three rules are used before ovulation and the fourth rule is applied once the fertile phase is over), based on a couple’s desire to achieve or postpone pregnancy.

FEMM- Fertility Education and Medical Management- is a comprehensive women's health program. FEMM online classes teach women how to monitor hormonal and other signs of health and fertility in their monthly cycles.
A FEMM trained medical consultant uses a protocol that helps women with hormone imbalances, causes infertility, PCOS, endometriosis and PMS.
FEMM also offers a teen program for young women to learn about their bodies, how to chart and recognize potential issues that need to be addressed.

The Marquette Model is a Hormonal Fertility Monitoring method that uses ovulation test strips and an electronic fertility monitor, such as the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor. This method has three approaches to the program. A couple can choose to use either:
an electronic hormonal fertility monitor along with a fertility formula to estimate the time of fertility, or
cervical fluid monitoring along with a fertility formula to estimate the time of fertility, or
the combined use of a hormonal fertility monitor along with cervical mucus as a means to estimate the time of fertility.

The Sympto-Thermal Method is based on changes in a woman’s cervical fluid and basal body temperature, which change in response to the hormones of the menstrual cycle. With this method, a woman takes her temperature at the same time in the morning every day as well as observes her cervical fluid throughout the day and records this information on her chart at the end of each day.
The course entails completing the three classes taught in three sequential months, as well as completing two months of personal charting.

Infertility and Pregnancy loss
St. Philomena novena
Young St. Philomena has been such a powerful intercessor, she’s actually the only saint who was canonized on the grounds of intercession alone. While miracles have been reported regarding a whole span of requests, she’s known as the patroness of babies, infants, and youth. It’s unsurprising, then, that she’s taken a special place in hearts of many infertile couples desperately longing to grow their family.
Whatever your intention (but especially if you or a loved one is struggling with fertility!), Philomena’s your gal. This novena (nine days of consecutive, focused prayer) can be prayed at any time, but if you want to end on her feast day, you should recite the novena once a day, beginning on August 3rd.
If you get a late start or forget a day, don’t let that discourage you pressing on! Novenas aren’t some magic formula that bring about change, but an ongoing nine-day conversation with a saint asking him/her to pray for an specific intention. Just like a missed phone call shouldn’t prevent you from talking to your mom, a missed day of a novena shouldn’t stop you from asking the Communion of Saints to raise your prayers up to God!
Dearest St. Philomena, your prayers are powerful because you are so close to Our Lord. Your child-like faith and devotion are an inspiration to all of the faithful. Many miracles have occurred as a result of your intercession. In your closeness to Our Lord, please lift up these my intentions in prayer…
(state your intentions)
St. Philomena, at such a young age, you gave everything to Jesus to be come a consecrated virgin for the Kingdom. Giving even more, you gave your live as you suffered a martyr’s death to preserve your gift to our Lord. Pray for me, that I might have the same faith and willingness to accept God’s will no matter the cost.
"Therefore, learning that we had some fertility issues was a tough pill to swallow because there seemed to be very little I could personally do to help in our particular situation. We struggled with infertility as a couple. It was not an individual trial."

Unleashing the power
of a woman's cycle
NaProTECHNOLOGY (Natural Procreative Technology) is a new women's health science that monitors and maintains a woman's reproductive and gynecological health. It provides medical and surgical treatments that cooperate completely with the reproductive system.
Thirty years of scientific research in the study of the normal and abnormal states of the menstrual and fertility cycles have unraveled their mysteries.
Real Solutions to Real Problems:
Premenstrual syndrom (PMS)
Irregular or abnormal bleeding
Polycystic ovarian disease
Other health problems
This is the first women's health science to network family planning with reproductive health monitoring and maintenance. It is a fertility-care based medical approach rather than a fertility-control approach to family planning and gynecological health.
NaProTECHNOLOGY uses the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System biomarkers to monitor easily and objectively the occurrence of various hormonal events during the menstrual cycle. NaProtracking provides valid information that can be interpreted by a woman and by physicians who are specifically trained in this system.
Unlike common suppressive or destructive approaches, NaProTECHNOLOGY works cooperatively with the procreative and gynecologic systems. When these systems function abnormally, NaProTECHNOLOGY identifies the problems and cooperates with the menstrual and fertility cycles that correct the condition, maintain the human ecology, and sustain the procreative potential.
Women now have an opportunity to know and understand the causes of the symptoms from which they suffer.
